Gina Wright, Scottish Artist

Gina wright

Gina is a full time, professional artist working in pastels and oils to paint landscapes and nature. These paintings reflect her love of the Scottish landscape and capture its fleeting moods. Other inspiration comes from trips to the Scottish west coast islands and trips abroad, especially to Venice.

Gina is fortunate to have a choice of working from a north facing studio, overlooking the river Tay, or a south facing studio in Pittenweem, looking out to the Forth estuary. There are great opportunities to work ‘en plain air’ from both locations.

Funky Scottish have a blog called A Funky Scottish Life and each month they feature one of the artists that exhibit at the gallery. Gina was featured recently, see 'A day in the life of....Gina Wright.

Gina has exhibited in various group exhibitions and in 2003 she had her first solo exhibition at the Pittenweem Arts Festival. Since then she has exhibited every year and celebrated 10 years in 2012.

Some of Gina's work in progress and studies will be posted on Instagram and her Blog.
